Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

InDesign Charts collects minimal data necessary to operate the service:

• License validation: A hashed machine identifier and your license key are sent to our server to verify your subscription status. We do not collect your name, email, or IP address through the plugin.
• Usage analytics: We collect anonymous usage data including which chart types are used and plugin version. This helps us improve the product.
• Payment data: Payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We do not store credit card numbers or bank details. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Your chart data never leaves your computer
• Your document content is never transmitted
• No personal files are accessed or uploaded
• No browsing data or cookies are used by the plugin

3. Data Storage

License data is stored on Cloudflare Workers KV (encrypted at rest). Analytics data is stored in aggregate form with no personal identifiers. All data is retained for a maximum of 90 days.

4. Third-Party Services

• Paddle — payment processing and subscription management
• Cloudflare — API hosting and data storage

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any data associated with your license key by contacting us. Upon deletion, your license will be deactivated.

6. Data Security

All communication between the plugin and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. License keys are stored securely using the host application's encrypted storage API.

7. Children's Privacy

InDesign Charts is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL.
